League of NH Craftsmen Juried Member, Erica Walker, grew up in a home where her love and appreciation for handcrafted art were fostered at an early age. Her father was a talented silver and gold smith by hobby and she recalls spending hours on end watching him work and playing at his work bench. Carrying on the family tradition, she is mostly self taught and works from her home in rural North Sutton, New Hampshire. Her work is simple, organic and contemporary and she is partial to silver that has the feel of the artist’s hand. Much of her free time is spent outdoors where she draws most of her inspiration.
